Rubicon Coaching
Taking you to the next level

To "cross the Rubicon" is an idiomatic expression that refers to making a crucial and irrevocable decision or taking a decisive action that commits someone to a particular course of action. It originated from a historical event when Julius Caesar, a Roman general, crossed the Rubicon River in 49 BC with his army, defying the Roman Senate's orders not to bring armed forces into Rome. This act marked the point of no return, as it initiated a civil war and ultimately led to Caesar's rise to power in ancient Rome. The phrase "crossing the Rubicon" for Rubicon Coaching means going where you haven't gone before and going to where you want to go without looking back.

If you're ready to be, do and have everything you want in business and life, Rubicon Coaching can help you.

Can 14 Minutes of Excercise Really Make a Difference?

Keeping with the theme of 14 minutes or just one percent of your day, how can you incorporate exercise into your day?  Not everyone can take the time to be a gym junkie and if you’re like me, the time it takes to get to the gym, workout, and get back to work is just too much to be persistently consistent with a workout routine.  Inevitably for me, I would get busy and miss a workout day, which turns out to be several missed and then it’s just too much to try to get back into it because I don’t want to be “sore” again for several days.  Then it’s back to the “guilt” of not working out regularly.  What if there was a system that could make up for those days or eliminate the gym entirely?  Today’s subject is about taking just one percent of your day done consistently at home to implement an exercise plan that can be easily accomplished.

Even though it might not sound like a lot, those 14 minutes can do wonders for your overall well-being.
First off, think about your heart—it loves when you get moving. With just 14 minutes of exercise each day, you're giving it a good workout that can lead to better heart health with lower blood pressure, a reduced risk of heart disease, and improved blood circulation.

And guess what? Those short bursts of exercise can totally give you an energy boost. It's like a natural shot of espresso for your body! You'll feel more awake and focused throughout the day, thanks to those feel-good chemicals called endorphins.

Speaking of feeling good, let's talk about your mood. Regular exercise, even in short spurts, can seriously help you feel better mentally. It's like a superhero against stress, anxiety, and even the blues. Your mind will thank you for those 14 minutes of self-care.

Try taking just 1% of your day, everyday, for a little exercise and see what a BIG difference it can make in your day.
